Do you Like Rotary, Motorcycles & Hate Polio?

 
I have an idea for a project and I am putting together a committee to implement this project.  The goal is to raise awareness and funding to End Polio Now.  

We will ride motorcycles around the district in a 2 day event. 
 
Day 1 would start in Laredo, through Hebbronville and Falfurrias, then south through Edinburg, McAllen, to Brownsville where we would grab lunch.  After Lunch we would head north to Harlingen Kingsville and end the day in Corpus Christi.  This first day would be 373 miles.  The next day we would continue north through Rockport, to Port Lavaca to Victoria.  Then turn South through Goliad, Freer and finally end in Laredo.   The second day would total 282 miles, for a total of approximately 665 miles.  I would like to have the event April 15-16, 2017.
 
Awareness would be raised through press releases and photo ops on the route at various Rotary cities in the district.  Funds would be raised by entry fees, event sponsorships and pledges.  This would be open to public riders who would pay their entry fee and raise pledges based on miles or otherwise.
