Dear Club Presidents/Chairs, Presidents-Elect, Secretaries, Executive Secretaries, Executive Directors, Foundation Committee Chairs, and Assistant District Governors:
On behalf of the District 5930 Leadership Team, DG Amando Chapa and I want to express our deepest appreciation to all the Rotarians and clubs in our district for your exceptional cooperation and support.  Together, we have positively and significantly impacted the lives of many individuals in our communities and beyond.
As a way of expressing our gratitude, we are pleased to announce that we are seeking nominations to help us recognize four male and four female Rotarians from District 5930 who are not Paul Harris Fellows, but who are actively engaged in efforts to support the mission of The Rotary Foundation
The mission of The Rotary Foundation is to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace by improving health, providing quality education, improving the environment, and alleviating poverty.
Only one nomination per club will be accepted.  Nominations must be supported by the club, and the club president/chair is required to include his/her name on the nomination form to demonstrate this support.
Nominations can come from Rotary clubs, Satellite Clubs, and Rotaract Clubs. Rotaract Club advisors are asked to share this information with the Rotaract clubs they sponsor.
To apply for this distinction, clubs are asked to complete the attached Nomination Form and email it to me, Juan Lira, at no later than 11:59 p.m. on Friday, 20 May 2022.
Following a committee review, DG Amando will present the corresponding Pin and Certificate to each new Paul Harris Fellow at a selected club function on a convenient date for everyone.
Thank you very much for your cooperation.  Feel free to contact DG Amando Chapa ( or me if you have questions.
Juan Lira, Chair
District Rotary Foundation Team
