September 17th is National Cleanup Day! Join the Rotary Club of Harlingen in beautifying the city by volunteering for our Highway Trash Pickup Service Project!
They will meet as a group in the TSTC parking lot at 8:30am. At this time, a log of all participants will be made, supplies will be distributed and photos of the volunteers will be taken to share on social media.
They highly recommend wearing a hat, wearing sunscreen, and bringing a backpack to store water bottles and other essentials to keep your hands free. If you have your own protective gloves, feel free to bring them. Also, if you would like to bring a claw grabber to help you, you are more than welcome to do so.
This activity is great for the whole family so they encourage parents to bring their children! (ages 6 and up recommended)
