September ended with the District active in activities, projects, and learning in Rotary. We can unite for Good.
Laredo International Hub Assembly. It was a moving event as we marked the beginning of the first assembly in the District. The warmth of the Laredo Rotarians, the energy of Rotaract, and the presence of community leaders created an atmosphere of unity that culminated in the peace pole ceremony.
The spirit of leadership and unity inspired all hub leaders.
The Upper Rio Grande Valley Hub Assembly demonstrated its commitment and leadership to our District. The assembly stood out for its values of leadership, teamwork, and inclusion.
Every participant had the opportunity to exchange ideas, projects, and even challenges they have faced, and by putting Rotary values into practice, they have found ways to overcome them.
It was an emotional moment to welcome Rotaractors joining our Rotary family.
Both Hubs, through their leaders and AGs, have been a great support in keeping our District up to date with new practices.
I hope to see you at the upcoming 3 Hub Assemblies in November. You can register now.

Participate in the first edition of the Art for Peace Project, organized by Rotary District 5930 and Rotary District 4130, an initiative that encourages creativity and reflection on peace through the projects of Rotary International. The artwork should symbolize unity, harmony, compassion, and cultural understanding, and be designed as a centerpiece suitable for display at a communal table.
We are excited for the upcoming Rotary Polio Moto event! You can join in by participating in the route, welcoming the motorcyclists, or contributing to the End Polio Now campaign.

In November, we will continue our series of 6 hub assemblies, offering learning opportunities for Rotary members to connect with one another within a geographic region and Unite for Good. Maybe we should call these “Friendship Assemblies!”

Please reach out to your Assistant Governor or Hub Lt. Governor for additional information.
Let’s keep the momentum going! Your participation in each game brings us closer together as a district and strengthens the impact of Rotary in our communities. Let the games begin! Who will be the first to “Win The Gold Trophy” award recognition??
In our increasingly complex geopolitical and social environment, it’s more important than ever for Rotary members to remember the promise we made to the children of the world, to eradicate polio. On 24 October, World Polio Day, we’ll join with our partners, frontline health workers, polio survivors, public health advocates, and others to remind everyone that eradicating polio not only is possible but also is a promise we intend to keep.
As your club begins planning its World Polio Day activities, be sure to visit the Brand Center to get a wide variety of polio-related resources. And don’t forget to register your club’s participation!
Want to refresh your club logo? Or are you wondering if you’re using it correctly? It’s easy to make updates and create new logos with our Brand Center templates. Review guidelines and do’s and don’ts on the Logos and Graphics page.
You’ll also find a link to a Learning Center course, Our Logo: Representing Rotary, where you can learn why it’s important to use Rotary’s logos correctly and consistently in all your communications.
